Stable at 0.35% remains the minimum interest rate on loans from the Recovery and Resilience Fund from banking institutions to small and very micro enterprises.For the rest, it is increasing and is now also at a constant 1%.
The above are provided for in a Joint Decision of the Minister of Finance and the Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr. Christos Staikouras and Mr. Theodoros Skylakakis. The decision was signed, entered into force and published in the Government Gazette (Government Gazette B ' 5473 / 24-10-2022).
In the context of the new JMD, it is noted that The above interest rates apply for those loan agreements concluded between the banking institutions and the beneficiaries with the resources of the Recovery and Resilience Fund from the entry into force of the decision until the entry into force of any decision amending it, which will revise the minimum interest rate.
In addition, it is clarified that:
The increase in the fixed interest rate from 0,35% to 1% for medium-sized and large enterprises shall not apply to those which have already concluded, no later than 1 calendar day before the publication of this Decision, a contract with an independent evaluator to review their investment project.
It is reminded that, for the time being, the following credit institutions participate in the lending part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan "Greece 2.0":
- European Investment Bank (EIB),
- European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)
- National Bank of Greece
- Piraeus Bank
- Alpha Bank
- Eurobank
- Optima Bank
- Pancretan Bank
- Hellenic Development Investment Bank (HDBI - former TANEO)
Loans under "Greece 2.0" can claim investment projects that fall under the following five pillars of the National Plan:
1. Green transition
2. Digital transformation
3. Innovation, research & development
4. Developing economies of scale through partnerships, acquisitions and mergers
5. Extroversion
As far as the investment scheme is concerned, each project is financed up to 50% with a loan from the Recovery Fund and at least 30% with a loan from the partner bank, while 20% of the investment is covered by own participation.
