The 4 new Actions within the framework of EPAnEK (NSRF 2014-2020)
ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE EPANEK PROGRAMME: "Strengthening self-employment of higher education graduates"[11/2/2016]
The program (EPAnEK) aims to support higher education graduates, unemployed and self-employed to start / support the exercise of professional activity related to their specialty and the organization of an independent professional space. The aim of the program is to reduce the unemployment of higher education graduates through self-employment, by exercising a professional activity related to their specialty and creating new jobs.
The following may participate in the EPANEK programmes:
1. Unemployed tertiary education graduates, registered in the OAED unemployment registers, at the time of application. 2. Natural persons who are graduates of higher education who, on the date of publication of the Call, are engaged in a professional activity related to their specialty and do not have an employment relationship, nor do they receive an old-age pension.
They are subsidized for:
The creation, organization, support and operation of a new or existing independent professional space related to their specialty.
They are subsidized by:
• up to €25,000 in the case of a person opening a sole proprietorship. • up to €40,000 for two-person clusters. • up to 50,000 euros for collaborations of three or more people. The funding covers 100% of the eligible costs.
Basic conditions for participation in EPANEK programs
• I.Income criteria
The individual income of the person concerned in the year 2015 should be ≤ 20,000 euros.
In case of a family, the family income in the year 2015 should be ≤ 35,000 euros.
• II. Subsidy from programs in the past
The interested party must not have been approved and must not have received support from co-financed programs from 1.01.2012 until the date of submission of the application. Participation in co-financed training actions is excluded.
The start of the online submission will be on 08/03/2016 and will remain open until 15/04/2016.
Points of special attention
• Funding applications are submitted ONLY electronically through the website (website), www.ependyseis.gr. The companies that will be positively evaluated in the action will be informed about the exact time and place of sending / receiving the physical file that will include the supporting documents.
• Costs will be eligible ONLY if they are incurred after 08.03.2016 starting date of the electronic submission of the funding application.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE EPANEK PROGRAM: "Start-up entrepreneurship"
The program concerns the establishment of new small and micro enterprises by unemployed people and by those engaged in professional activity who do not have an employment relationship.
It aims to create micro and small, viable enterprises with an emphasis on innovative business plans and to enhance employment by creating sustainable new jobs.
The following may participate:
- Unemployed registered in the unemployment registers of OAED at the time of submission of the application.
- Individual service entrepreneurs who are active traders without an employment relationship and who are not in receipt of an old-age pension on the date of publication of the invitation.
They are subsidized by:
amount from €15,000 up to €60,000
They are subsidized for:
Setting up a business in the 8 strategic priority areas
- Agri-food / Food Industry
- Cultural & Creative Industries (CCI)
- Materials / Constructions
- Supply Chain
- Energy
- Environment
- Information and Communication Technologies ICT
- Health-Medicines.
Eligible forms of company
Ltd., O.E., E.E., I.K.E., Cooperative Enterprise as well as Social Cooperative Enterprise (S.C.E.E.). The S.A. is not an eligible corporate form for the action.
Eligible costs
• Purchase of equipment (up to 40% of the investment plan)
• Operational (rents of business premises, electricity costs, business telephony costs)
• Costs for third party fees (legal, accounting support)
• Hospitality services in incubators
• Costs of promotion, networking and participation in exhibitions
• Depreciation of fixed assets
• Purchase / leasing of equipment
• Supply of consumables
• Insurance contributions of the beneficiary (entrepreneur / partners)
• Wage costs for new position(s)
• Costs of preparation, submission, registration or renewal for a recognized title of industrial or intellectual property
Costs will be eligible ONLY if they are incurred after 17.03.2016 starting date of the electronic submission of the application for funding.
The funding covers 100% of the eligible costs.
Basic conditions for participation in EPANEK programs
Subsidy from programs in the past: The interested party must not have been approved and not received support from co-funded programs from 1.01.2012 until the date of submission of the application. Participation in co-financed training actions is excluded
When and how to apply for funding
• Funding applications are submitted ONLY electronically through the website (website), www.ependyseis.gr.
• The start of the online submission will be on 17.03.2016 and will remain open until 27.04.2016.
• There is no question of priority submission of the files as the evaluation will start after 27.04.2016.
• Businesses that will be positively evaluated in the action will be informed about the exact time and place of sending / receiving the physical file that will include the supporting documents.
EPANEK PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT: "Upgrading micro & small enterprises to develop their capabilities in new markets"
The program aims to improve the quality of the products and services offered or to create new products / services that will meet specific market needs. Also, investment projects may aim to reduce costs or increase the efficiency of operational and production processes.
The following may participate:
1) Existing & new micro and small enterprises
2) Existing companies operating in the 8 strategic priority areas and keeping B' and C' category books, which until 31.12.2015 have closed two or more management uses or
3) New companies operating in the 8 strategic priority areas that do not fall into the above category of existing ones and have been established until 31.12.2015.
Subsidized with
amount of 15,000 euros up to 200,000 euros
The funding covers 40% of the eligible costs and is increased by 10%, reaching 50% in the case of recruitment of new staff.
Subsidized for
• Buildings, other facilities and surrounding area, Machinery – Equipment
• Environmental protection & energy & water saving installations
• Development & Certification of quality assurance & environmental management systems
• Actions for the patenting and protection of intellectual property at national, European and international level or for the acquisition and use of patents and for the transfer of know-how.
• Technical support costs for the conclusion of cooperation contracts with foreign firms or Joint Ventures, concerning new markets or new products / services.
• Certification & standardization of finished products / services according to recognized standards (e.g. CE).
• Wage costs of employees (existing and / or new staff)
Costs will be eligible ONLY if they are incurred after the 11.02.2016 date of publication of the call.
Basic conditions for participation in the EPANEK program
Where the undertaking has received aid from a previous programme, it must, including aid from this action, not exceed EUR 200 000 (or EUR 100 000 for the transport sector) within three years (current calendar year and the two previous years).
When and how to apply for funding
• Applications for funding are submitted ONLY electronically through the website (website), www.ependyseis.gr. • The start of the online submission will be on 07.04.2016 and will remain open until 20.05.2016. • There is no question of priority submission of the files as the evaluation for all proposals will start after 20.05.2016. • Businesses that will be positively evaluated in the action will be informed about the exact time and place of sending / receiving the physical file that will include the supporting documents.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE EPANEK PROGRAM: "Support of tourism SMEs for their modernization and the qualitative upgrade of the services provided"
The program aims to strengthen the investment plans of existing micro, small and medium-sized tourism enterprises of all sectors for the modernization of their infrastructure and operation, their qualitative upgrade and the enrichment, upgrading and certification of the products and services offered, in order to improve their position in the domestic and international tourism market.
They can participate
- Existing & new micro, small and medium-sized enterprises active in tourism.
- Existing businesses and keep B' and C' category books, which until 31.12.2015 have closed two or more administrative uses
- New businesses that do not fall into the above category of existing ones and have been established until 31.12.2015.
Subsidized with
€15,000 to €150,000
The funding covers 40% of the eligible costs and is increased by 10%, reaching 50% in the case of recruitment of new staff.
Subsidized for
• Buildings, facilities and surroundings, Machinery – Equipment
• Environmental protection & energy & water saving installations
• Development & Certification of quality assurance & environmental management systems
• Wage costs of employees (existing and / or new staff)
• Self-propelled means of transport, unmanned seagoing vessels and bicycles of all kinds intended for hire as equipment of enterprises active in the relevant activities.
• Means of transport for professional use, either mixed/multipurpose, of at least nine (9) seats
• Promotion costs
Costs will be eligible ONLY if they are incurred after the 11.02.2016 date of publication of the call.
Basic conditions for participation
• In companies with three or more uses, the company is required to employ on average in the three-year period 2013-2015 at least half (0.5) SRM of paid employment.
• In businesses with two uses, at least half (0.5) of salaried employment SRM is required for the two-year period 2014-2015.
• In case the company has received support from a previous programme it should, including the aid from this action, not exceed the amount of EUR 200 000 within the three-year period (current calendar year and the two previous years).

• Funding applications are submitted ONLY electronically through the website (website), www.ependyseis.gr.
• The start of the online submission will be on 29.03.2016 and will remain open until 17.05.2016.
• There is no question of priority submission of the files as the evaluation will start after 17.05.2016.
• Businesses that will be positively evaluated in the action will be informed about the exact time and place of sending / receiving the physical file that will include the supporting documents
