PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT SERVICE : Applications for the last 500 positions for the employment of unemployed persons

On Monday, September 19, 2022 at 13:00, applications for the last 500 of the 5,000 positions of the DYPA's action: a business grant programme for the employment of unemployed people aged 30 years and over in the Regions in Transition (MET), with an emphasis on women.

Applications can only be submitted by businesses in the Region of Central Greece. The deadline is until Friday, October 19, 2022 at 15:00 or until the seats are exhausted.

The amount of the grant for the recruitment of unemployed people to new full-time positions for 12 months is as follows:
  • 466,5 € monthly (5.598 € annually) for unemployed people aged 30-49
  • 559,8 € monthly (6.717,6 € annually) for unemployed people aged 50+
  • €606.45 monthly (€7,277.4 per year) for long-term unemployed 30+ years old
  • 653,1 € monthly (7.837,2 € annually) for long-term unemployed 50+ years old
  • €699.75 monthly (€8,397 annually) for unemployed women aged 30+

Businesses interested in participating will submit their application exclusively online through the State Aid Information System (PΣKE) of the Ministry of Development & Investments at the following address: www.ependyseis.gr/mis. Thereafter, the employment advisors of the DYPA will nominate candidates to the company, in accordance with the following procedure:

  • the category of unemployed
  • specialty
  • the required qualifications

Then the company will choose among the candidates for recruitment. A prerequisite is that the businesshas not reduced its staff in the three months prior to the application. Also not to have received funding from state aid of more than €200,000 in the previous 3 years (current and two previous ones). The salary and insurance contributions subsidy includes the corresponding Christmas and Easter gifts and holiday allowances, while after the end of the program there is no commitment to employment. The program, with a total budget of €32,000,000, is co-financed by Greece and the European Union (European Social Fund), through the EP. "Human Resource Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020".
