Today 11/01/2021 the pre-publication of the e-retail grant scheme, which had been announced and expected in the market for a month, was published.

Η νέα Δράση e-λιανικό εντάσσεται στο Επιχειρησιακό Πρόγραμμα «Ανταγωνιστικότητα, Επιχειρηματικότητα, Καινοτομία (ΕΠΑνΕΚ)» του ΕΣΠΑ 2014 – 2020 και έχει ως στόχο την επιχορήγηση ΜμΕ επιχειρήσεων για την δημιουργία ή την αναβάθμιση ηλεκτρονικού καταστήματος (e-shop) προκειμένου:

• support their operation under the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic,
• enhance the integration of digital technology and their digital transformation;
• avoid overcrowding indoors,
• ensure the continuity of economic activity during the COVID-19 outbreak as well as in the period ahead.

e-retail - Eligible businesses

Medium, small and micro enterprises, operating in the retail sector, maintain a physical store and their operation has been suspended for at least one day from Wednesday, March 18, 2020 onwards.

They may apply:

• Existing businesses , if they have been established until 30.09.2019
• Newly established businesses , if they have been established from 1/10/2019 until 7/11/2020

Prerequisite for participation

The business must have completed (implementation, invoicing, payment as well as accounting of the relevant costs in the period from 18/03/2020 until before the submission of the application) the creation or upgrade of an online store (e-shop) that will meet the following conditions:

• operate in two languages as well as in a mobile device environment – mobile responsive or dedicated mobile version,
• be accompanied by ordering, warehouse and electronic payment software,
• to ensure the access of people with disabilities to all the electronic services offered

Eligible expenditures

Up to €5,000 per business for the following costs:

• Servers for hosting applications - software required for the creation / upgrade and operation of an online store, with its accompanying elements (keyboards, screen, etc.) and the required operating system. Acquisition in the form of Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS) is also allowed
• Computers (Desktop/Laptop)
• Other technological equipment related to the creation / upgrade and operation of an online store (e.g. network equipment, Bar code readers, printers, etc.)
• E-shop design, development/upgrade and management services including ordering, warehouse and electronic payment software and hosting services (hosting, collocation, etc.)
• Development and/or certification of a digital security policy

The starting date for eligibility of expenditure is 18 March 2020

The Action for the creation / upgrade of an e-shop is expected to be announced within the month of January 2021 and the submission period will be announced in the Call and will have a duration of at least thirty (30) days.
