Green Transition for SMEs: More than 3,700 applications in the two actions

There is considerable interest in funding for the actions: Green Transformation of SMEs and Green Productive Investment SMEs from all regions, relating to the Green Transition SMEs. As noted in a related post on the NSRF website, for green transformation, there is no longer public expenditure available for the Transition regions (Attica, South Aegean) but in all other cases invitations are open until the budget is exhausted.

Action Green Transformation of SMEs

According to the data, to date, 768 applications for funding have been submitted, per category of region, for the action Green Transformation of SMEs under the Competitiveness Programme total budget 453.014.504 euros with a public expenditure of EUR 209.084.086,70. Specifically, in the category of Less Developed Regions (North Aegean, Eastern Macedonia-Thrace, Central Macedonia, Epirus, Thessaly, Western Greece, Crete, Western Macedonia, Ionian Islands, Sterea Greece, Peloponnese), 434 applications for funding have been submitted with a public expenditure of EUR 129.061.843,38. The public expenditure the action for this category is 234.000.000 euros.

In detail, the public expenditure of funding applications submitted under the EU Regulation 1407/2013 (de minimis) amounts to EUR 30 722 514,95. The public expenditure for this aid scheme amounts to EUR 117.000.000. Similarly, the public expenditure of funding applications submitted under EU Regulation 651/2014 amounts toEUR 98 339 328,43. The public expenditure for this aid scheme also amounts to EUR 117 million.

As mentioned above, in the category of Transition Regions (Attica, South Aegean) 334 applications for funding have been submitted with a public expenditure of EUR 80.022.243,32.There is no more public expenditure available for this category of regions.

Action Green Productive Investment SME Action

In addition, the total number of funding applications submitted, per category of region, for the Green Productive Investment SME action of the Competitiveness Programme is, to date, 2,960, with a total budget of 459,994,147 euros and a public expenditure of 216,058,050 euros.

Specifically, in the category of Less Developed Regions (North Aegean, Eastern Macedonia-Thrace, Central Macedonia, Epirus, Thessaly, Western Greece, Crete, Western Macedonia, Ionian Islands, Sterea Greece, Peloponnese), 1,582 applications for funding have been submitted with a public expenditure of 110,995,104 euros. The public expenditure of the action for this category is EUR 312 000 000.

In the category of Transition Regions (Attica, South Aegean) 1.378 applications have been submitted with a public expenditure of 105.062.946 euros. The public expenditure of the action for this category is EUR 88 000 000.

It is reminded that applications for the Green Transition for SMEs submitted are evaluated on a first come, first served basis, according to the date and time of electronic submission to the Integrated State Aid Information System, at: www.opske.gr.

Calls will remain open for applications until the available budget per region category is exhausted.
