The aid rate, according to the government's programme, will be for RES combined with storage (batteries) for units up to 10 kilowatts and the Programme Guide is expected to be consulted in the next two weeks.

Φωτοβολταϊκά 260 εκατ. euros to municipalities and businesses

At the same time, two other programs are being prepared for the aid that will concern installation for photovoltaics: they are 160 million budget program euros for the installation of self-generation units in businesses and the program to strengthen municipal energy communities, budget of 100 million euros which will aim to support vulnerable consumers, according to the RES.

Eight direct actions in the next 8 months for installation on the roofs

Ms. Sdoukou described the government's priorities for the next 8 months as a whole, which include:

  • The preparation of the new energy plan that will include more ambitious goals for 2030, when the share of RES should reach 80% in electricity generation, 50% in cooling-heating and 30% in transport.
  • The integration of the Directives for consumers (the relevant bill is in the Parliament) and RES.
  • The completion of the Information System for RES that will digitize the licensing process.
