University of Macedonia: Business incubator to support innovative research groups and ideas

The University of Macedonia invites expressions of interest for the Support Program for Innovative Research Groups and Ideas, in the Business Incubator of the University. The goal is to create new innovative businesses, based on research results of the members of its community, but also outside it.

The purpose of this program is to identify and support potential entrepreneurs from the students, faculty members and the researchers of the University of Macedonia who have produced innovative research results. With the help of this program, the goal is to turn their findings into commercially exploitable products or services and create successful businesses.

In addition to students, faculty members and researchers of the University of Macedonia, graduates, participants in the Innovative Ideas Competition of the University of Macedonia, but also researchers with innovative research results in other university institutions or research centers, who would like to create a team or complete its composition by collaborating with students or professors or researchers of the University of Macedonia.

The program offers training and guidance in the business process, funding for the development of the business plan, technical and business support and access to a network of professional contacts and investors.
