OKThess continues its dynamic actions for the strengthening the startup community consistently seeking to inspire, support and unite those who want to take their first steps in innovative entrepreneurship.

If you have an innovative idea and you want to develop it in business, you can participate in the 15th acceleration cycle OKThess until Tuesday, March 14, 2023 .

The 15th acceleration cycle with all the actions included in the OKThess programme will take place with the physical presence of the teams at the OKThess venue. Where appropriate, will be used digital media . Furthermore, all procedures for inclusion in the 15th Acceleration Cycle, from the first assessment to the Bootcamp and the final assessment for participation in the programme, will be carried out in the physical presence of the teams. Each team participating in both the Bootcamp and the acceleration cycle must be able to represented by its members in physical presence in all activities.

What is the Acceleration Programme OKThess

The OKThess accelerator program is aimed at business teams that have innovative business ideas. Ομάδες οι οποίες βρίσκονται σε the initial stage of investigation, or development. this is a support programme for innovative business groups Duration 12 weeks. It helps participants to mature their idea in a short period of time and iscover a sustainable and scalable business model that will allow the grow as start-up businesses, in major international markets. The acceleration programme includes:

• workshops and masterclasses on fundamental issues of entrepreneurship and business discovery methodology
• weekly coaching from experienced startup founders and mentoring from successful entrepreneurs and business executives based on the needs of each team

Since the beginning of 2017 until today, the OKThess accelerator programme has supported more than 150 innovative entrepreneurial efforts.

The program implemented by Municipality of Thessaloniki in cooperation with the Alexandria Innovation Zone (AIZ), the higher education institutions of the city (AUTH, PAMAK, DIPAE), the Association of Industries of Greece (AIG), the Association of Exporters of SEVE, the Centre for Business and Cultural Development (CBCD), the Association of Information Technology Enterprises of Northern Greece (AITENG), the Technical Chamber of Greece/Division of Central Macedonia. The Centre of Volunteer Managers of Greece (CVMG) is a constant partner for the needs of the programme.

Timetable

March 14 (23:59). Deadline for submission of applications
March 16. Completion of the evaluation phase A and invitation of the applicants selected for the Bootcamp
17 March - 22 March. Conducting the Bootcamp (20-hour workshops, compulsory attendance)
March 24. Presentations of the teams that completed the Bootcamp to the evaluation committee (Pitching Event)
March 24. Announcement of the teams that will be admitted to the full programme of the 15th acceleration cycle
