Until Monday, November 15, 2021 at 23:59, interested students will be able to submit their online applications for admission to the seven new Experimental Vocational Schools (PEPAS) of OAED, for the school year 2021-22.

PEPAS will operate in 7 cities (Athens, Thessaloniki, Corfu, Crete, Mytilene, Patras and Rhodes) with three specialties in the field of tourism and hospitality, in collaboration with the Greek-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Institute of the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises (INSETE).

The schools will implement the dual system of education that combines theoretical and laboratory training with Apprenticeship (learning in the workplace with pay and insurance) in companies. The theoretical part will take place in the schools from November to April, while the Apprenticeship in business will take place from May to October. The students' remuneration corresponds to at least € 21.78 for each day of apprenticeship in a workplace for 2 years.

Eligible to apply are those who are 18 years of age or older, holders of at least a High School Diploma and have a good knowledge of a foreign language (English or French or German). The students of EPA.S. OAED apprenticeship:

• They carry out apprenticeships in companies with remuneration and insurance
• Study in modern and fully equipped laboratories
• They are provided with the necessary books and aids
• They are trained by experienced and well-trained educational staff
• They are entitled to deferment of conscription
• Eligible persons receive housing and food allowance
