The electronic submission of applications for the admission of students to the 50 EPAS Apprenticeship Vocational Schools of OAED(Public Employment Service), for the school year 2021-22, in 33 specialties with high demand in the labor market and paid apprenticeship in the workplace, is extended until Thursday, September 23 at 23:59.

Specifically, the route is: gov.gr → Education → Enrollment in a school → Enrollment in a Vocational School (EPAS) of OAED

Since 1952, the OAED has been implementing the Apprenticeship system, which is the only dual system in our country, which combines theoretical and laboratory vocational training at the School with on-the-job-training in the workplace. The aim is for the trainee to acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge and professional experience in the labor market. The students of EPAS in the morning carry out Apprenticeships in companies of the private or public sector in positions related to their specialty, while in the afternoon they attend theoretical and laboratory courses at the School.

The students' remuneration corresponds to 21.78 euros for each day of apprenticeship in the workplace for 2 years (four semesters). There are 50 EPAS Apprenticeships of OAED operating nationwide, offering studies in 33 specialties.

• They carry out apprenticeships in companies in the private or public sector with remuneration and insurance
• Study in modern and fully equipped laboratories
• They are provided with the necessary books and aids
• They are trained by experienced and well-trained educational staff
• They are entitled to paid student leave of up to 30 days
• They are entitled to deferment of conscription
• Those who qualify receive housing and food allowance.
