On Monday, April 11, 2022 at 13:00, the applications for the third cycle of the OAED's action, Business Grant Program for the employment of unemployed people aged 30 years and over in the Regions in Transition (MET), with emphasis on women, and specifically in the Regions, will start:
- of Western Macedonia
- Mainland Greece
- Ionian islands
- Peloponnese
- North Aegean
- Crete
Applications will be submitted by Friday, April 29, 2022 at 15:00.
The 12-month program is aimed at businesses and the amounts of the grant for the recruitment of unemployed people to new full-time positions are as follows:
- €466.5 per month (€5,598 per year) for unemployed people aged 30-49
- €559.8 per month (€6,717.6 per year) for unemployed people aged 50 and over
- €606.45 per month (€7,277.4 per year) for the long-term unemployed aged 30 and over
- €653.1 per month (€7,837.2 per year) for long-term unemployed aged 50 and over
- €699.75 per month (€8,397 per year) for unemployed women aged 30 and over
Terms and conditions participation in the action of the OAED
Businesses interested in participating will submit their application exclusively online through the State Aid Information System (PSI) of the Ministry of Development & Investments, at the following address: http://www.ependyseis.gr/mis. Thereafter, the employment advisors of the OAED will nominate candidates to the company, according to:
- the category of unemployed
- specialty
- the required qualifications
Then the company will choose among the candidates for recruitment.
A prerequisite is that the company has not reduced its staff in the three months prior to the application, and that it has not received funding from state aid of more than 200,000 euros in the previous 3 years (current and two previous). The salary and insurance contribution subsidy includes the respective Christmas and Easter gifts and leave allowances.
The program, with a total budget of 32,000,000 euros, is co-funded by Greece and the European Union (European Social Fund), through the OP. "Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020".
