OAED-Amazon Web Services, through the official training provider for Greece, OTE Academy (Amazon Web Services Training Partner), is implementing a new modern online training program in cloud services for 1,000 unemployed people. Η υποβολή ηλεκτρονικών αιτήσεων συμμετοχής στο πρόγραμμα «AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials» θα ξεκινήσει σήμερα Δευτέρα, 4 Οκτωβρίου 2021 και ώρα 15:00 και θα λήξει την Κυριακή, 17 Οκτωβρίου και ώρα 23:59.Το πρόγραμμα είναι αποτέλεσμα του Μνημονίου Συνεργασίας ΟΑΕΔ -Amazon Web Services. Στόχος η ανάληψη κοινών δράσεων για την αποτελεσματική αντιμετώπιση του ψηφιακού χάσματος στην αγορά εργασίας. Παράλληλα μέσω του προγράμματος επιδιώκεται η ενίσχυση της ψηφιακής οικονομίας. Ιδιαίτερη έμφαση δίνεται στον τομέα ανάπτυξης δεξιοτήτων των ανέργων σε τεχνολογίες cloud services. Μέσω αυτής της πρωτοβουλίας, ο ΟΑΕΔ διευρύνει το πεδίο συνεργασίας του με καινοτόμες εταιρείες τεχνολογίας για την ανάπτυξη των ψηφιακών δεξιοτήτων του εργατικού δυναμικού.

The program, lasting 8 training hours, is offered free of charge by AWS, in the context of Corporate Social Responsibility. Upon completion of the training program, each unemployed beneficiary will receive a certificate of attendance of the program.

The route will be: gov.gr → Education → Digital Skills → Free provision to the AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials distance learning program

OAED-Amazon Web Services will continue to work together to further enhance digital skills in the labour market. In this context, they will proceed with the implementation of training programs and workshops. AWS has the necessary expertise, appropriate infrastructure, operational organization and sufficient experience to achieve the goal. For his part OAED through the program seeks extroversion, partnerships and digital transition. The aim is to promote employment more effectively and quality training in high-demand skills and cutting-edge sectors.
