Applications for participation in the programme have started Agrofarming - B. Evia of the organisation New Agriculture New Generation. It aims to support the creation of processed products food in the region of North Evia in the Municipality of Istiia-Aidipsos.

Those interested can register their participation in the action Agrofarming - B. Evia until Monday 26 September.

After the application evaluation process that will be collected, 10 producers-breeders-beekeepers will be selected to participate in a closed support program, which will include:

• Training workshops focusing on the areas of food product development, marketing, sales and exports.
• Specialized business guidance (mentoring), based on the particular needs of each participant.
• Subsidy per participant. The amount of the subsidy can reach up to €5,000 per participant, is linked to their performance during the program and can be used for the purchase of equipment and/or services.

This action is part of the set of actions implemented by the organization New Georgia New Youth in the region, in the framework of the ActionAid initiative for the creation of the Open Support Centre for the residents of North Evia.

The creation of the Open Support Centre for the residents of North Evia is implemented by the ActionAid in collaboration with organizations ARGO Federation of Psychosocial Rehabilitation & Mental Health Agencies, New Agriculture New Generation and Science Communication (SciCo) with an exclusive donation from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) within the framework of the SNF North Evia Support Initiative.
