A notice has been published concerning the inclusion of new areas, as well as clarification regarding restrictions on existing areas of support under the ERANEK Action: support for existing businesses affected by the pandemic in areas affected by major natural disasters.

The Communication on the grant for existing businesses states in detail:

Based on relevant decisions of the Governmental State Aid Committee dated 14/9/2022 and 22/9/2022, in Action Grants for existing businesses affected by the pandemic in areas affected by major natural disasters, under the Operational Programme "Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (EPANEK)" (047KE), NSRF 2014 - 2020 which is open for applications It is clarified that:

1. For the Municipalities of Argostoli, Lixouri and Sami, the beneficiaries are only those businesses of the Regional Unit of Kefalonia that were affected by the natural disaster "Ianos". Operations for which the work of autopsies by the State Aid Committees of the Region was not completed in time. The details of these enterprises will be certified by a document of the relevant Region.
2. For the Municipality of West Samos beneficiaries are only those businesses that have been affected due to the restrictions and denial of access to them as a result of the conditions created by the earthquake of October 30, 2020. These operations will be certified as earthquake-stricken and their details will be confirmed by a relevant document of the relevant Region.

According to the same decisions, the following areas will be included in the Action:

• the Municipality of Ithaca, for those businesses that were affected by the "Ianos" natural disaster and for which the autopsy work was not completed in time by the state aid committees of the Region. The evaluation will be made according to the data that will be mentioned in a document of the relevant Region,
• the Municipality of Eastern Samos, for those businesses that have been affected due to the restrictions and the ban on access to them as a result of the conditions created by the earthquake of October 30, 2020. The evaluation will be carried out according to the data that will be mentioned in a document of the relevant Region,

- the Communities of Lala, Achladini, Douka and Nemouta of the Municipal Unit of Foloi in the Municipality of Ancient Olympia,

- the Community of Vrissa and the Community of Stavros of the Municipal Unit of Polichnitos of the Municipality of West Lesvos,

- the Communities of Amouri, Praetorion, Vlachogianni and Magoula of the Municipal Unit of Potamia of the Municipality of Elassona.
