Ministry of Development: 127 investment projects approved – The provisional tables

The provisional tables with the 127 investment projects that have been approved and will be included in the General Entrepreneurship and Small - Micro Enterprises programmes of the Development Law 4399/2016 for the year 2020, were announced by the Ministry of Development and Investment .

The total amount of the grant, the leasing subsidy and the subsidy for the cost of employment created exceeds EUR 190 million and the aid in the form of a tax exemption reaches EUR 113.5 million.

These programmes include a total of 127 investment projects, out of those submitted to the Directorate-General for Private Investment. Interested candidates can see the ranking lists posted on the website: www.ependyseis.gr .

As noted by the ministry of finance, it is The first time that the completion of the evaluation process for the first 127 investment projects and the notice with the provisional tables lasted just 3.5 months, compared with 24 months until recently, due to the interventions made to speed up the process.

The new bill speeds up procedures throughout the Territory. The ministry's goal is to evaluate all investments to be included within 70 days. This will avoid red tape and boost entrepreneurship and employment at the same time.

Investment projects

The 6th cycle of the General Entrepreneurship scheme includes 40 investment projects. The amount of the grant, the leasing subsidy and the subsidy for the cost of employment created amounts to EUR 19,132,641.29. The total amount of aid in the form of the tax exemption amounts to EUR 113 448 786.76.

The 4th cycle of the Small Micro Micro Enterprises scheme includes 87 investment projects. The amount of the grant, the leasing subsidy and the subsidy for the cost of employment created amounts to EUR 171,030,761.89. No aid in the form of tax exemption is required.

In the near future, the procedure for examining the objections and the issuance of the final tables by the Ministry will follow.
