Today, Friday 7 April, the revival of the old favourable arrangements for insurance debts of 120 instalments and 72 instalments of the covid periodis activated.
At the same time, from Μ. Monday 10 April the online service for the new 72 instalment arrangement for insurance debts created in the period from September 2021 to December 2022 is also activated.
A) For the revival of the 120 instalments and the 72 instalments of the covid period
- From Friday 7 April 2023, the regulation of 120 instalments and the regulation of 72 instalments of the covid period will be revived.
- It concerns those who until 1 February 2023 had lost favourable regulations of the law. 4611/2019 (up to -120- instalments) and n. 4756/2020 (COVID up to -72- instalments). Debtors who were not previously included in these arrangements CANNOT be included now.
- In order to revive the regulations, a request must be submitted to the competent Service of the K.E.A.O. by 31 July 2023.
- In order to activate them, the payment of an amount corresponding to 2 monthly instalments of the lost arrangement is also required by the last working day of the month of submission of the application. This amount covers the two previous instalments due. The other outstanding instalments are transferred in bold at the end of the arrangement.
- An additional condition for the revival of the above arrangements is the repayment or inclusion in a fixed arrangement of up to 24 instalments or the new arrangement of 72 instalments, depending on the time period, of any debts that are not included in the favourable arrangement.
Step by step the revival process concerning insurance debts
The debtor
1. Submits in the e-EFKA application, selects an electronic service request and the request category "Revival of the regulation of the law. 5036/23".
It is clarified that no appointment is required, just the request process is done through the same application used to make an online appointment.
2. Receive notification from the competent service for the completion of the request through the application where the request was submitted.
3. Pay the amount corresponding to 2 instalments of the arrangement using Debtor Identity Card or Payment Code in case of revival of Covid arrangement.
ATTENTION: If there are debts outside the regulation, the service will include them in a fixed regulation or in the new 72 instalment regulation, depending on the period of time involved. In this case, the payment of instalments for inclusion in each regulation or revival is made with a separate Electronic Payment Code via Bank (RF) that will be communicated to the debtor through the application where the request was submitted.
B) For the new regulation in up to 72 instalments
- It concerns debts from September 2021 to December 2022
- The minimum monthly instalment is set at €30
- The relevant request must be submitted to the online services of the K.E.A.O. by 31 July 2023
The above regulation concerns:
- Those debtors who, apart from the debts of the period September 2021-December 2022, had previous debts which they had included in the arrangement until 1 November 2021
- Those who have revived the favorable 120 installment regulation, have the right to include the debts of employment periods from September 2021 to December 2022 in up to -72- installments.
- Those who revived the favorable -72- installment COVID arrangement and have only subsequent debts. They can include the 9/21-12/22 debts in up to -72- instalments of the new law.
- Those who had a fixed arrangement (for debts for periods from September 2021 to December 2022) and kept it until 01/02/2023.
It should be noted that for all the above cases, if there are insurance debts outside the regulation, they must be subject to a fixed regulation of up to 24 instalments until 31 July 2023.

Step-by-step procedure of the adjustment for insurance debts
The debtor
- Selects "Debt settlement" from the menu of the K.E.A.O.
- Enters the passwords to access the K.E.A.O. Electronic Services.
- Selects the type of regulation "REGULATION UNDER LAW 5036/2023 ARTICLE 82 (72 DOSIS)"
- Selects the repayment method and the desired number of instalments and enters the selected scheme of arrangement
- Submit the request for debt adjustment
- The activation of the arrangement is carried out with the payment of the first instalment using the debtor's identity card.
If there are additional debts outside the arrangement, these should be subject to a fixed arrangement. For this reason, the debtor first selects the type of adjustment "ADJUSTMENT UNDER LAW 5036/2023 ARTICLE 82 (72 DOSES)" and after completing the procedure for this adjustment, then selects the type of adjustment "ADJUSTMENT UNDER LAW 5036/2023 ARTICLE 82 PARALLEL PAYMENT 4152/13"
The new favourable regulatory framework is expected to bring in over 3.1 billion to the e-EFKA coffers. which have been deregulated according to the latest available data from the ELS (until 31/12/2022).
