Applications for the "Charge Everywhere" action, which aims to install more than 8,000 publicly accessible electric vehicle recharging points in key urban and peri-urban locations and points of interest, such as airports, motorways, ports and parking areas, across the country, will be open from 11 May.
The action, with a total budget of €79.79 million. euros, is implemented in the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan Greece 2.0 with the funding of the European Union-NextGenerationEU .
Beneficiaries of the Charge Everywhere programme
Beneficiaries of the aid for " Charge everywhere " are investment entities that are established or have a branch in the Greek territory at the time of payment of the aid and have one of the following forms:
- Commercial companies and sole proprietorships,
- Cooperatives,
- Social Cooperative Enterprises, Agricultural Cooperatives (AC), Producer Groups (POs), Urban Cooperatives, Agricultural Corporate Partnerships (ACPs)
- Joint ventures engaged in commercial activity,
- Public and municipal enterprises and their subsidiaries if:
- they are not entrusted with the service of a public purpose,
- they are not exclusively entrusted by the State with the provision of services,
- their operation shall not be subsidised from public funds for the period during which the
- long-term commitments.
The O.T.A. The first or second tier municipalities are not beneficiaries of the action.
Categories
Beneficiaries of the aid are divided into two categories:
- Category I: Beneficiaries who (a) will own the assisted E/C charging station, (b) will own or have the legal right to the exclusive use of the premises of the E/C charging station and (c) will have concluded a contract with an E/C charging station registered in the M.Y.F.A.H., for the representation of this station, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 4710/2020, for a period of at least five (5) years.
- Beneficiary category II: Beneficiaries who (a) will own the supported E/C charging station and (b) will operate themselves as E/C charging infrastructure operators (E/C charging infrastructure operators) registered with the M.Y.F.A.H., in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 4710/2020.
Eligible E/C charging stations are divided into two categories, based on their location, as follows:
Α. In the publicly accessible charging stations in areas under the jurisdiction of municipalities included in Electric Vehicle Charging Plans (EV Charging Plans) and
Β. Publicly accessible charging stations for electric vehicles other than S.F.E.O. This category is divided into two subcategories:
- those located on motorways or more generally on the axes of the Trans-European Transport Network, and in particular in publicly accessible parking areas along the
- οδού, εντός λιμενικής ζώνης, εντός αερολιμένα, εντός σιδηροδρομικού σταθμού, και
σε δημοσίως προσβάσιμους σταθμούς φόρτισης σε λοιπούς χώρους, ως εξής:- existing or under authorisation " Fuel and energy service stations ",
- existing or under licence or concession parking and parking areas within the tourist port area ,
- existing or under authorisation, covered and open-air vehicle stations,
- existing or currently licensed vehicle maintenance and repair workshops and public or private vehicle inspection centres (PTI)
- parking areas of public and private buildings with public access
- along roads, within a port area, within an airport, within a railway station, provided that it is not included in the areas of Class B.1 of this Regulation
The deadline for the completion of the project and the registration of the included charging stations in the M.Y.F.A.E.H., is set at 31 October 2025.
