GreenTech Challenge: The final on Sunday 11 December

On Sunday 11/12 , theGreenTech Challenge by ESU NTUA 2022Final will take place at the National Technical University of Athens, for the emergence of the best green startups (Greentech Startups) and Innovation Idea Holders of this year's competition.

The GreenTech Challenge by ESU NTUA 2022 is the largest National Green Innovation Programme. The aim is to highlight innovative ideas and solutions in the field of green energy. solutions in the field of the Environment , the Circular Economy and Sustainable Development.

In the final, the finalists in the two distinct categories, Early-stage Startups andInnovation Idea Holder, will present their innovative solution to environmental issues, followed by questions and scoring by the jury. Their goal is to convince and impress the jury and the public with their innovation, in order to win the competition's prizes and a place in the GreenTech Incubator.

Specifically, the GreenTech Challenge finalists compete in 8 themes:

Energy
Innovative Green Products & Advanced Materials
Factory of the Future
Mineral Raw Materials
Smart & Sustainable Cities
Sustainable Tourism
Blue Growth

The programme is carried out under the scientific Responsibility of Research Unit of Economic Environment and Sustainable Development of the National Technical University of Athens and UNESCO Chair for Green Innovation and the Circular Economy (Unit Director, Professor Konstantinos Aravosis), with Mantis Beyond Innovation as the organisational manager and under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment and Energy.

For yet another year, the programme is supported by the largest companies in the the environment sector. Indicatively, companies such as Papastratos, Mediterranean, TERNA Energy, Motor Oil, ETVA BI-PE, Rokas Renewables, Mitsis Hotels etc. Also from a large network of distinguished individuals from the academic and business community, who make up the organizational, scientific, student and mentor committee.
