GameTech Innovation Challenge: Competition for tech startups

TheGlobal Sports Innovation Center powered by Microsoft (GSIC) and the Kaizen Gaming, one of the fastest growing GameTech companies worldwide, are collaborating to identify innovative technology solutions through Kaizen Gaming's GameTech Innovation Challenge.

The GameTech Innovation Challenge aims to find innovative solutions. Solutions that, using UI/UX, web3.0, VR/AR and gamification mechanisms, will improve the entertainment experience Kaizen Gaming provides to customers in its 12 countries of operation, through the brands Betano and Stoiximan.

Οι νεοφυείς επιχειρήσεις που διαθέτουν τεχνογνωσία σε θέματα τεχνολογίας και καινοτομίας μπορούν να καταθέσουν πρόταση για μια ή και περισσότερες από τις παρακάτω προκλήσεις:

- Social interaction: creating a communication bridge where users can interact with each other while watching live matches or playing casino games.

- Live sports visualisations: using computer vision technologies or any other technological solution to create 3D visualisations for live sports matches.

- Gamification mechanisms in iGaming: open challenge around Gamification in online sports betting and casinos. Guide is how p2p competitions can provide entertainment to users.

The selected company will have the opportunity to run a pilot project with Kaizen Gaming, participate in an Immersion Week at the company's new offices in Greece and receive a funding prize of €5,000 to be invested in the implementation of the project. Finally, the winning startup will have access to the Microsoft for Startups Program, as well as the opportunity to participate in VIP experiences with teams sponsored by Kaizen Gaming.

Process Plan and Design

-Starting date for applications: 30 January, 2023

-Application deadline: 1 April, 2023

-Announcement of final candidates: 20 May 2023

-Final Presentation: 15 June 2023

-Announcement of Winner: 25 June, 2023
