EXIKONOMISI KATIKON II - Inclusion of an additional 8,731 applications in the Second Cycle

In this context, the Commission approved the inclusion of 8,731 applications in the second cycle of the programme Exoikonomisi kath' Oikon II, putting the relevant interventions on track for implementation.

In particular, this inclusion includes:

• all applications without a loan, as well as
• a significant number of applications with a loan

The total eligible intervention budget of the applications exceeds EUR 146 million; euros and public expenditure 102 million euros (grant and loan).

To date, the total number of applications for inclusion in the second cycle exceeds 15,300. It is noted that, within the framework of the second cycle of the programme, 285 projects with a total budget of EUR 3.5 million have already been completed. euro.

In addition, the Commission approved the inclusion of a small number of applications in the first cycle of the programme, almost completing the applications of this cycle.

The total number of applications for inclusion in the first cycle so far amounts to 42,676 applications, with a total intervention budget of € 637 million. euro. It is noted that, in the framework of the first cycle of the program, more than 36,200 applications have already been completed, with a total budget of € 484 million. euro.

Following the inclusion of 70% of the applications submitted in the second round of the Savings at home II, will be immediately followed by the inclusion of the remaining applications approved by the Fund's Investment Committee, contributing to the extent feasible and the size of the programme to support citizens, while at the same time stimulating the market and the businesses involved.
