The Hellenic Investment and Export Trade Company (Enterprise Greece), in the context of its statutory purpose, strengthens the Greek innovation - technology sector and promotes exports, launching 2022 with an even more comprehensive program Enhancing the Extroversion and Acceleration of the country's innovative Technological Enterprises, in continuation of the successful pilot project «Thriving in the Storm" which he implemented in 2020.
This year's Program titled "Thriving Global Silicon Valley Program" will be implemented in cooperation with the Agency USMAC (US Market Access Centre) and with experts from Silicon Valley. US-MAC has been active since 1995, providing technology companies with, rapid and successful access to the global market through Silicon Valley (www.usmarketaccess.com).
The new program will allow participating technology companies to accelerate their growth, as it will bring them into direct contact with prospective customers, strategic partners and investors from Silicon Valley, while also giving them the opportunity to get to know the U.S. technology ecosystem.
The main phases of the program are:
PHASE1 : Thriving in the Storm – Boot Camp
- Participants: 18 companies
- Duration: 5 days (20 hours)
- Purpose: to inform participants about the particularities of the US market, to understand the product changes they will have to make in order to penetrate new foreign markets and to create a realistic timetable and plan for expansion in these markets.
PHASE 2 : Global Growth Acceleration - Εξωστρεφής επιχειρηματική Επιτάχυνση
- Participants: 6 Companies (that have completed the 1st phase)
- Duration: 4 months
- Purpose: each company will be matched with a Silicon Valley industry expert to receive personalized 25-hour guidance, while having the opportunity to conduct at least 10 B2B meetings and take part in a Pitch Event with prospective investors. The last 2 weeks have been taking place in Silicon Valley.

The first phase of the programme will start on 14 February 2022. After evaluation, 18 Greek companies will be selected. Of these, 6 who will be distinguished will have the opportunity to continue in the 2nd phase of extrovert business acceleration.
Who it is aimed at the Enterprise Greece programme
The program is addressed to existing and new technological Greek companies that:
- have a fully functional product or service
- have already made sales in the internal market and want to promote their products/services in international markets with an emphasis on that of Silicon Valley
The evaluation of the companies will be done by specialized associates of the organization US-MAC -Alfredo Coppola,Co-CEO, US Market Access Center Co-founder, Marin Seed Ventures και ChrisBurry,Co-CEO, US Market Access Center Industry Fellow, UC Berkeley
The selected companies will pay part of the cost of participation of the program.
The program requires participants to have knowledge of English.
The program marks the strategic choice of Enterprise Greece to proceed with the development of targeted tools to support the extroversion of Greek companies in the field of new technologies. It is part of the strategic action plan of Enterprise Greece. It utilizes the know-how of the US market and in particular of Silicon Valley to guide and advise Greek businesses. Their ultimate goal is their access to international markets.
