Yesterday, Thursday, February 2, 2023, applications for businesses to join the Business Grant Program for the hiring of 3,000 unemployed persons aged 56 and over, who have completed the grant program for the employment of long-term unemployed persons, aged 55-67, of the Public Employment Service - DYPA.

The aim of the action is to support the transition of those who have worked in subsidised jobs in the public sector. Through the relevant DYPA programme they will be employed in full-time jobs in the private sector.

• The "bridge programme" in the private sector subsidises the employment of unemployed persons aged 56 and over who have completed at least the first 12 months of the grant programme for the employment of long-term unemployed persons aged 55-67.

The duration of the grant is 12 months. The grant amounts to 715 euros per month for each recruitment. The budget of the programme amounts to 25.755.000 euros and will be covered by the resources of the DYPA.
