Until Thursday 31 August 2023 at 23:00, applications for admission to the 30 Vocational Training Institutes (IEK) of the Public Employment Service (DYPA), as well as to the Edipsos branch of IEK Chalkida, for the training year 2023/24, in 39 specialties with high demand in the labor market, will be submitted online.

The registration process in the IEK of the ICF

Those who hold a General or Vocational High School Diploma are eligible to apply , regardless of their age. Applications can be submitted exclusively via gov.gr using the TAXIS codes at the following address: https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/ekpaideuse/eggraphe-se-skholeio/eggraphe-se-iek-tou-oaed

Specifically, the route is: gov.gr → Education → School registration → Registration in a school → Registration in an IEK of DYPA

Candidates' supporting documents must be uploaded to the online application form in PDF format. The necessary supporting documents include the degree and the identity card. Each candidate is entitled to choose a total of three training specialisations in order of preference (1st, 2nd, 3rd) in two IETs of the CIFA.

The aim of the IEKs of ISPA is to provide quality initial vocational training that meets the needs of the economy and ensure that the trainees have the relevant qualifications through the provision of scientific, technical, professional and practical knowledge, enabling them to develop competences and skills that will facilitate their integration into the labour market.

The attendance

Attendance at the IEKs of ISPA is of a total duration of five semesters, divided into four semesters of theoretical and laboratory training of a total duration of up to 1 200 hours of specialised teaching hours, in accordance with the specific curricula, and one semester of paid Practical Training, of a total duration of 960 hours. The IETs of the CIFA provide graduates (after an initial vocational training certification examination) with a Level 5 Vocational Specialist Diploma.
