Adonis Georgiadis, Minister of Development and Investments

"Greece has become an attractive investment destination thanks to the policies of the government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis and in particular the Ministry of Development and Investment. It is characteristic that for two consecutive years we have recorded all-time investment records. The but measure of change in the investment climate in the country I think it captures it better than the large private investments that have come unstuck in recent years such as Hellenic or the Shipyards, better than the large foreign investments we have attracted in recent years such as Pfizer, Microsoft or Amazon Web Services, what happens with the a single tourism scheme and the single three-month cycle of the new Development Law.

We have 562 applications for investment projects with a total budget EUR 1.618.160.677,83. To put this into perspective, this total is equal to all the growth cycles of the Syriza period. Five years of applications of about EUR 1.5 billion. Three months of Kyriakos Mitsotakis made a few more in a single regime".

Nikos Papathanasis, Deputy Minister of Development and Investments

"The new Development Law committed us to adopt a flexible, pro-investment framework that promotes entrepreneurship without rigidities. The business community's response to date confirms that we have succeeded in substantially improving the state aid environment for private investment. In the second scheme, which comes to support a very important and strong sector of the Greek economy, 562 applications for investment projects were submitted, with a total budget of €1.6 billion. euros. In the next few days the announcement of the"Entrepreneurship 360ᵒ" scheme is expected. A regime that will cover almost all sectors of economic activity. We are continuing our work with unabated pace in order to change the country's production model and give all the necessary tools for entrepreneurship to flourish."
