CYPRUS: Results tables for the Youth Entrepreneurship Programme with a focus on women – Cycle 3

Posted on the website of the Public Employment Service (DYPA) the tables with the results of the evaluation of the funding applications for the Programme for the Grant for Entrepreneurial Employment Initiatives of Young Freelancers aged 18 to 29 years, with a focus on women Cycle 3.

The objective of the 12-month action is to promote self-employment of young unemployed people through the creation of sustainable businesses, while 60% of the beneficiaries are unemployed women.

The amount of aid for new businesses is €14,800 and will be paid in three instalments as follows:

  • 1st installment of 4,000 euros, after the start of activity at the Tax Office
  • 2nd instalment of EUR 5,400, after the end of the first half of the first semester after the start of the business
  • 3rd instalment of EUR 5,400, after the end of the second half of the second semester after the start of the business

Reasoned objections (with any supporting documents attached) can be submitted electronically through the State Aid Information System (PASKE) at: https://www.gsis.gr/kpske within the exclusive period of 10 days from the electronic notification (by email) of the potential beneficiaries.

The project, with a total budget of 61.200.000 euros, is co-funded by the Greek State and the European Social Fund/Youth Employment Initiative, under the Operational Programme Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020.
