The Alexandria Innovation Zone continues its actions for the strenghening of community of business startups consistently seeking to inspire, support and unite those who want to do their first steps in innovative entrepreneurship. As part of the project «Promotion entrepreneurship by supporting promising innovative ideas through pre-incubating mechanisms » with acronym «Co-Working» of the program Interreg V-A Cooperation Programme Greece - Bulgaria 2014/20, which is co-financed by the European Union and national funds of the participating countries, the Alexandria Innovation Zone, as lead partner, implements an accelerator programme for startups.

What is this Co-Workingaimed at?

The acceleration program is aimed at those who would like to develop or already have a business idea which is in the initial stage of investigation or development. It is a programme to support innovative business teams, helping participants to mature their idea in a short period of time and to discover a sustainable business model that will allow them to grow as start-ups in major international markets.

The acceleration program includes:

• theoretical approach to entrepreneurship issues
• Business discovery labs
• mentoring of participants, in order to support their business ideas

The Acceleration Programme involves the organisation of a Bootcamp structured around the following 5 thematic modules:

1. Development of Lean Startup Methodology
2. Business Model Canvas Methodology Development
3. Development of Assumption Validation Methodology
4. Pitching Techniques and Approaches
5. Internal Evaluation Methodology

In the above context, 3 similar educational cycles of 20 participants will be implemented for each thematic unit, each of which includes theoretical training and practical training of the methodology. A total of 60 participants will be selected based on predetermined criteria from all interested parties who will apply to participate. Then, those selected will be sent an invitation and the detailed program.

For the successful completion of the acceleration program, comprehensive participation in each thematic module is required. The acceleration program takes place with the physical presence of the participants, for those who live within Thessaloniki, in the area of the Alexandria Innovation Zone, while on a case-by-case basis, to ensure the protection of the beneficiaries, the ability to participate using digital media.

Attendance is MANDATORY with the possibility of 2 absences for each participant.

Classes will take place every day, except weekends, in the afternoon hours 18:00 - 21:30.
