The call for proposals for the Action: special actions HYDRO AGRICULTURES - INDUSTRIAL MATERIALS - INNOVATIVE INNOVATION IN CULTURE in the framework of the Operational Programme "Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation" ( EPANEK ) of the NSRF 2014 - 2020.

Objective of the action Aquaculture-industrial materials-innovative innovation in culture

The main objective of the Actions is to create the necessary knowledge base in focused sectors, through the strengthening of research and technology, in order to promote innovation, increase the competitiveness of dynamic sectors of the economy and stimulate productive activity at regional and national level.

Applications for Funding may be submitted depending on the Specific Action, by a partnership of research and knowledge dissemination organisations and existing enterprises, or by a consortium of research and knowledge dissemination organisations, or by a consortium of research and knowledge dissemination organisations, existing businesses and cultural operators.

Applications for funding submitted for funding under the Action should promote research, technology and innovation and be part of one of the following grants:

a) research and development operations/projects (research category: industrial research, experimental development) feasibility studies of actions for the promotion/dissemination of the results of the operation, participation in international conferences, at national and international level which to a greater or lesser extent will be provided for in all operations,
(b) promoting innovation for SMEs;
(c) participation of SMEs in trade fairs.

Beneficiaries of the Action are:

(a) Research and knowledge dissemination organisations and 'Other entities treated as research and knowledge dissemination organisations';
(b) Undertakings
c) Cultural Institutions (applies only to the specific action "OPEN INNOVATION IN CULTURE") where they will be treated as:
(i) 'Other entities treated as research and knowledge-dissemination organisations' or as (ii) Enterprises

Action Budget AQUACULTURE - INDUSTRIAL MATERIALS - OPEN INNOVATION IN CULTURE

The budget of the Public Expenditure of the Action is estimated to amount to 30,000,000 euros (Public Expenditure). The budget (Public Expenditure) amounts to 24,250,000 euros. The difference between the total budget and the public expenditure is defined as the private participation, which will be covered by the beneficiaries.

The total budget of the applications for funding submitted must be within the limits or not exceed the upper limit, as set out in the table below, per application for funding submitted and per specific action:

AQUACULTURE (Figure A): 200.000€-400.000€ AQUACULTURE (Figure B): 50.000€-200.000€ INDUSTRIAL MATERIALS: Up to 600.000€ OPEN INNOVATION IN CULTURE: Up to 1.000.000€

Eligible costs

Eligible costs should in any event be included in the following eligible activities described in General Exemption Regulation (EU) No 651/2014:
• Research and development activities
• Innovation activities
• Participation in trade fairs – only for SMEs

Mandatory activities of each proposed project are research and development activities.

Important dates

Thedate of the start of the online submission of Funding Applications to the State Aid Information System (www.ependyseis.gr/mis) is 19 September 2017 at 16:00 and the closing date is 20 October 2017 at 16:00.

The cancellation of the electronic application for funding of the proposed project is allowed, provided that an application for cancellation has been submitted within an exclusive deadline of up to two working days before the deadline for the electronic submission of the applications for funding to the Action.

The starting date of the project implementation time is the date of issue of the Decision on the inclusion of the projects.

The duration of the implementation of the submitted project proposals should be from twenty-four (24) to thirty-six (36) months.
