“Change Device for Businesses”: Decision to include the first 2,246 applications

The Ministry of Environment and Energy announced the inclusion of the first 2,246 beneficiaries in the program “Change Device for Enterprises“, which are supported with 24,256,800 euros, in total.

With the accession decision, the beneficiaries of the aid will be able to open special, reserved trust accounts (escrow accounts). There, the total maximum amount of aid will be transferred, amounting to 10,800 euros, per beneficiary.

Of this money, up to 10,000 euros is the maximum aid that can be given to each beneficiary for the eligible expenses of the program. At the same time, up to 300 euros is the maximum expenditure for the fee of the application support consultant, while up to 500 euros is the maximum support for expenses related to recycling initiatives.

The responsibility program of the Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Theodore Skylakakis, has a total budget of 105.6 million euros and remains open for applications until it is exhausted.

Applications are submitted via the electronic platform of the “Change Device for Businesses” program (https://exoikonomo-epixeiro2023.gov.gr) and for the inclusion of the beneficiaries, the method of direct evaluation (First in-First out).

It is noted that in order to submit applications in the “Inclusion Presenting Documents” status, the steps listed in the “application guide” (available on the program platform) should be followed, specifically the submission:

• the case-by-case supporting document Documenting Energy Goal Achievement in the Documents Tab (1st PEA or 1st Energy Audit or Emissions Certificate or Responsible Declaration of Energy Goal Achievement) and
• of the updated Responsible Accumulation Statement

The membership decision, with the full list of beneficiaries, is posted on the website of the “Change Device for Business” program. There, the beneficiaries can also be informed about all the steps they are asked to follow, in the context of the implementation of the program.
