The organisation New Agriculture New Generation invites farmers, farmers, beekeepers, cottage industries, cooperatives and producer groups, who process or wish to process their production, to submit their application for participation in the Agroanelexis-Farmers of the Future agri-food acceleration programme.

The deadline for submissions is Sunday 16 July.

To date, 57 businesses and cottage industries from all over Greece have been supported through the programme. In addition to business training, mentoring and personalised consultancy services, the businesses have received a total of €256,000 in financial support for the development of new services and products. As a result, over 65 new food products have been developed and are currently on the market.

. fourth cycle of Agroevolution, entitled Farmers of the Future, is addressed to small producers and collective groups from all over Greece who want to develop their existing products and/or create new differentiated products based on the special raw materials of the Greek land and place them on the market.

Businesses will participate in training workshops, during which they will receive practical business knowledge, stimuli and guidance for the creation of new differentiated products, as well as advice from experienced market executives, based on their specific needs.

For further development and product development, project participants will be supported to prepare their application for inclusion in a microfinance programme by the Action inclusion in a microfinance programme by the (AFI).

The programme supports agri-food businesses aiming at shaping a new business mindset in the sector and developing new diversified food products through sustainable business efforts.
