AADE: Within 2 days, 1,450 work interruptions were completed digitally

In the first two days of operation of the digital business interruption of a business, 1450 related procedures were completed through the application. This was announced by the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE) highlighting the acceleration of service to citizens and the important reduction of pending requests to the Tax Office through the operation of more and more digital applications.

These are procedures which were on the list of pending requests to the AADE, reports the competent authority.

Given the acceleration of the processing of pending requests and the forwarding of a large part of them to DOU outside Attica, the number of pending requests for citizens is significantly reduced every day.

It is estimated that, with the commissioning of other digital applications, the issue with pending requests will be remedied in a very short time.

The App

Natural and legal persons as well as legal entities have the right to submit a request to stop work on the new digital platform.

Taxpayers who have already submitted a request through the application “My Requests”, which has not yet been processed, can submit their request again in the new digital application.

Please be reminded that business interruption requests related to a reason for business conversion, taxpayers in a state of bankruptcy and deceased persons are excluded from the automated process and can still be submitted through the digital application “My Requests”.

The Process

Those interested submit a request for the suspension of operations to the digital portal myAADE, at the path: Registry and Contact > Change of Registry Details > Suspension of Operations Business.

Taxpayers planning to close their business or stop their business activity will submit their declaration on the new platform. Automatically the system will check if the entrepreneur or professional can proceed with a business interruption.

The verification of statements submitted to the platform on time, i.e. within 30 days from the date of the actual business suspension time, will be completed in express time without any inconvenience to the business or the professional.

For business interruption declarations that are submitted late, an electronic check and data cross-check will be carried out, in order to establish whether the business interruption date that the taxpayer will have filled in is the actual one.
