AADE: Postponement of deadlines in myDATA, in the POS Register and in the EAFDSSS withdrawal

In order to facilitate businesses and following their requests, the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE) and the Ministry of National Economy and Finance move the final dates of data transmission to the digital platform myDATA, of the declaration of companies for the confirmation of the POS they have and the withdrawal of the EAFDSSS.

Additionally improvements in data transmission are being introduced to the myDATA digital platform.

In particular, by joint decision of the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Haris Theoharis and the Governor of AADE, Giorgos Pitsilis, the following final dates are postponed as follows:

For the year 2022

  • Invoicing expenses, self-invoicing income: Until 31.12.2023
  • Omission – Deviation of data transmission: Until 31.1.2024
  • Registration records of income – expenses: Until 31.1.2024
  • FIM retail revenue via ERP or Special Registration Form: Until 31.3.2024

Improvements in data transmission

Furthermore, relevant improvements to the transmission of data on the myDATA digital platform are introduced and the following are foreseen:

  • New Document Types are introduced for the POS interface, specifically the POS Receipt and the POS Return Receipt and for the focus the Order Slip
  • It is possible to transmit omissions and deviations within a month for those who maintain a double-entry accounting system and within a quarter for those who maintain a single-entry accounting system
  • The use of QR code is mandatory from 1.1.2024 for documents issued with ERP
  • Transmission time of data loss of connection within one day from the date of issue
  • It is possible to transmit 2022 and 2023 expense data with Document Type 14.30 for which the Receiver has objective difficulty in transmitting

  • Businesses are given an extension until 17.11.2023 to confirm the POS they have.
  • The consent procedure for businesses to AADE for the provision of FIM data they have for informing POS Providers is defined.
  • An extension is given to businesses until 29.2.2024 for the withdrawal of EAFDSS
