The platform for the submission of declarations by subsidised unemployed persons for the "jobseeker's allowance" has been activated. The new benefit of the DAFA for subsidized unemployed who start working.

The new work allowance was introduced through the "Jobs Again" law as an incentive and reward for quick reintegration into the labour market. The subsidised unemployed persons hired from 29.12.2022 onwards, during their subsidy period, will continue to receive 50% of their benefit for the period remaining until the end of their subsidy period.

Beneficiaries are those who receive regular unemployment benefit or self-employed unemployment benefit and are employed during their benefit period in full-time paid employment with an employer for whom they were not employed in the two years prior to the start of their benefit period.

The employment allowance may not be granted more than once within the same three-year period.

To pay the benefit, potential beneficiaries enter the platform with their TaxisNet codes at the following email address: https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/ergasia-kai-asphalise/anergia/epidoma-ergasias-paratase-epidomatos-anergias

and submit a simple declaration to join the scheme. Payment of the benefit starts after an ex-officio check by the DYPA that the conditions for granting the benefit have been met.
