In the action of the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises, which is implemented in the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan with the funding of the European Union, the clinics were included (doctors and medical companies) were included. The accession was achieved after the continuous efforts of the Athens Medical Association and president George Patoulis.
More specifically, medical services as eligible SMRs are beneficiaries of:
- programme I (Digital TOOLS for SMEs) and
- programme III (Digital Transactions)
These programs concern funding for the utilization and enhancement of new products and services. Also in the acquisition of new digital tools to support digital transactions in existing businesses and clinics.
In particular, doctors and medical societies of any legal form can be included in the action. The date of commencement and establishment/incorporation must be before 01/01/2022. Also, businesses must be active on the date of submission of the application for funding. The beneficiaries of the program are included in distinct categories based on employment (employment). The aid starts from 900 euros and gradually reaches 18,000 euros. The deadline for the submission of applications for funding is Wednesday, September 14, 2022.
