The Startup School program, an intensive 3-day program for startups in idea phase, MVP or early stage, was announced by Microsoft . The program is implemented in collaboration with the Startup Pathways. The event will take place online via Microsoft Teams from Friday 17 December to 19 December from 10:00 to 15:30.

The Startup School aims to equip and acquaint young people with the necessary skills. This way they will be able to scale their startup. The participants - startuppers will have the opportunity to be trained and learn from renowned C-level Executives, famous Startuppers and successful ScaleUp Founders, the necessary skills and participate in trainings necessary for the business stage they are in, such as:

• service design
• pitching
• HR

The Startup School program and the training program

First day

On the first day the participants they will be trained in the use of Service Design methodology. That is, how to design an innovative and unique product/service journey. The training will be conducted by Dimitris Papadimitriou, founder of Startup Pathways and Leadership Coach. Then follows the Panel on "Corporate & Startup – The ideal mix". The adoption dynamics of ScaleUp components by Corporate and Corporate components by ScaleUps will be analyzed. Participating are Mylaidi Stoumbou, Regional Director – Microsoft, Nikos Nikolakopoulos, CEO – Intralot, Evangelos Gizelis, CEO – Gizelis Robotics and Antonis Barounas, ex Senior Vice President HTC. The first day will conclude with Haris Takas, Senior Marketing Director at e-food in a fireside chat with the Program Manager of Microsoft for Startups, Suzana Theodoridou.

Second day

The Regional Director of Microsoft, Mylaidi Stoumbou opens the program of the second day with a speech - a surprise and aimed at alerting the founders. This is followed by training in pitching and influence techniques from Startup Pathways and Dimitris Papadimitriou. The ScaleUp Panel of the 2nd day concerns fundraising / financing techniques and experiences from well-known Greek Startups, who will share their own story (Maria Kaini, CEO – i2d, Konstantinos Loizou, CEO – Embiodiagnostics and Kostas Karolemeas, CEO – AllCanCode). The day ends with the fireside chat of Panos Papadopoulos, Partner of Marathon VC and Suzana Theodoridou.

Third day at the startup school

The third day starts with a session dedicated to cloud services by Microsoft's Cloud Solutions Architect, Sofia Hanialaki. This is followed by training on Team Dynamics and entitled "The transition from a Team of Co-Founders to ScaleUp 100 employees" by the founder of Startup Pathways and Leadership Coach Dimitris Papadimitriou. The ScaleUp Panel focuses on scale up possibilities in different countries (Kostas Oikonomopoulos, CEO-CubeRM, Dimitris Doukas, CIO-NET2GRID and Nikos Papanotas, CEO-Geekbot). The event closes with a fireside chat and guest speaker Manos Perakakis from Mentionlytics regarding the success story at Microsoft.
