On Friday, December 3, 2021, the deadline for the submission of electronic business applications for the remaining positions of the program for the acquisition of 7 months of work experience of unemployed 18-30 years old with 100% salary subsidy and insurance contributions in the Regions of Western Greece (250 positions) and Epirus (150 positions) of OAED expires.
Specifically, 75% of the total 1,600 positions advertised have already been filled, giving the opportunity to young people to gain valuable experience, upgrade their qualifications and prepare for integration into the labor market.
Beneficiaries are registered in the unemployment registers of the Employment Promotion Centres (KPA2) of the OAED located in areas of the Regions of Western Greece and Epirus, aged 18-30, graduates of any educational level. The aim of the action is to enhance young people's access to the labour market and to halt the brain drain.
The programme has a budget of EUR 10.5 million. euros lasts 7 months. OAED pays to beneficiaries monthly allowance equal to the minimum net wage (with full insurance contributions). The proportion of holiday gifts and holiday allowances is also paid.
Businesses interested in participating are included in the program, depending on the staff they employ, as follows:

A prerequisite is that the company has not made a reduction in staff due to termination of an employment contract in the 3 months before the submission of the application.
Applications for work experience positions OAED
Employers interested in participating will submit a single online application to the Integrated Information System (OPAED) of the OAED (e-services), which is posted on the website of the Agency, at: https://www.oaed.gr/proghrammata-anoikhta .
Then, the employment consultants of OAED will indicate to the company candidates, according to the specialty and the required qualifications. Then the company will choose among the candidates for recruitment.
