Specifically, according to an announcement of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs , in October the announcements recruitment workers amounted to 230,174, while departures amounted to 300,222 (97,272 voluntary departures and 202,950 terminations of open-ended contracts or fixed-term contracts).
The balance of payroll employment flows for the first quarter of 2021 is positive and stands at 214,809 new jobs according to ERGANI. Level that it is the highest balance sheet performance for the first ten months of the year, from 2001 to date. Departures reached 1,784,822. 978,813 were terminations of open-ended contracts or terminations of fixed-term contracts. 806,009 were voluntary departures. Thus, the balance of wage employment flows of the decade of 2021 is positive by 214,809 jobs.
Consequently, the balance of the first ten months of 2021 is formed, at a higher level by: (a) 93,989 additional jobs, in relation to the balance of the corresponding time period of the year 2020. (b) 46,527 more jobs compared to the balance of the first ten months of 2018. From 2001 to date, the highest recorded first ten month balance sheet performance.
