In the signing of a memorandum of understanding for the support of startup entrepreneurship, the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBEA) and the Chamber of Drama, on the subject:
- planning
- developing
- the planning of synergies between the two bodies, in the context of the actions to encourage and develop startup entrepreneurship
More specifically, the memorandum was signed between the startup and incubator support structures of the two Chambers, the Athens Start-up Business Incubator – THEA of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Start-up and Entrepreneurship Support Structure Lab.40 of the Chamber of Drama.
The two organisations agreed to utilize their potential in order to multiply the opportunities for the development of entrepreneurship, retaining and attracting a highly qualified and skilled workforce, focus on Region of Attica and the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace. At the same time, to become an important reference point and support for local organizations, professional associations and individual businesses, for the selection and implementation of methods and technologies needed to support startup entrepreneurship.

"Today, together with the Chamber of Drama, we are investing in a new generation of entrepreneurship. Which will consist of new companies, which will benefit from our joint actions". And they will transform it into a modernized and fertile ecosystem."

For his part, the president of the Chamber of Drama, Mr. Stefanos Georgiadis, pointed out the importance of sealing the cooperation of the two bodies, with the common goal of further supporting and encouraging innovative entrepreneurship.
"It is the collaborations with the existing companies of our region and not only, that aim to create new production methods, new products. To develop innovation and potentially utilize ideas that will be born within our structure or the ecosystem we create.
