EIT Food invites students, academics, entrepreneurs, startups or scaleups to develop their ideas in the agro-food industry.
The Seedbed Incubator, Food Accelerator Network (FAN), and Rising Food Star (RFS) programs are looking for the next innovation in the agri-food industry from farming to consumer.
Applications will remain open until March 10.
Launch Seedbed Incubator
The Seedbed Incubator is a six-month program that aims to transform science- and technology-driven innovations that can help solve global challenges in the food chain, into business. The programme is provided by EIT Food partner organisations, which operate from different locations in Europe.
All entrepreneurial teams and startups accepted to the Seedbed Incubator receive funding and access to the EIT Food ecosystem to facilitate possible tests on the market with potential customers or end-users. Each group is supported by coaches and industry experts to be ready for a successful business startup.
Accelerate EIT Food Accelerator Network
The EIT Food Accelerator Network (EIT FAN) is a four-month project that aims to quickly monitor science- and technology-based innovations that help solve global food chain challenges. The project is managed by EIT Food partners, operating from different locations in Europe. Each node connects the startups agri-food startups with industry-leading partners from business and research. The aim is to highlight technology and fulfill the ultimate goal of any business: a successful positioning in the market.
Scale RisingFoodStars
This program is aimed at early scaleups that have passed the idea phase, have a clientele or are active in a paid pilot project and are ready for significant expansion globally. RisingFoodStars helps them grow faster through:
- testing new ideas on the market
- providing expert support
- connecting with leading corporate partners in the food industry
- facilitating access to investors
