The programme III, Digital Transactions, for the digital transformation of SMEs, with a total budget of 162.440.000 euros, funded by the Recovery Fund .
The aim of the Digital Transactions programme is the adoption of modern digital tools that will support the invoicing, tax document handling and electronic payment processes. Beneficiaries can receive a subsidy in the form of a voucher ranging from €150 to €1,250 depending on the device to be replaced.
The Programme will provide vouchers for the acquisition of new digital tools through purchase or lease and is expected to contribute to improving the productivity of SMEs, increasing the security of transactions, as well as enhancing their tax compliance.
Participating enterprises may be supported in order to implement one or more of the following categories of actions:
- Category 1: EFT/POS replacement.
- Category 2: Invoicing on board a vehicle / handling of documents on the move.
- Category 3: Receiving services from an e-invoicing provider.
- Category 4: FTM upgrade & Upgrading of FTMs to interface with EFT/POS.
- Category 5: Replacement of NFCS, except for catering establishments.
- Category 6: Replacement of FEMs (FTM or ADHME or EAFDSS*) in catering establishments.
Beneficiaries of the Program
The Programme supports existing private enterprises engaged in economic activity, for which the following conditions, among others, are cumulatively met:
- They have their registered office or branch in the Greek Territory with a Greek VAT number.
- They are active on the date of submission of the application for Funding by the Program.
- They have been established before 01.01.2022.
- They constitute a legal entity (Société Anonyme, Limited Liability Company, General Partnership or Limited Partnership, P.C., Sole Proprietorship, Social Cooperative Enterprise, Cooperative) or Sole Proprietorship and keep haplographic or double-entry books.
Participating enterprises may be supported in order to implement one or more of the following categories of actions:
- Category 1: EFT/POS replacement.
- Category 2: Invoicing on board a vehicle / handling of documents on the move.
- Category 3: Receiving services from an e-invoicing provider.
- Category 4: FTM upgrade & Upgrading of FTMs to interface with EFT/POS.
- Category 5: Replacement of NFCS, except for catering establishments.

Programme duration and milestones for Digital Transactions
The milestones for Potential Beneficiaries and Suppliers are broken down as follows:
Suppliers:
- Suppliers can submit applications for participation on the digital platform from Wednesday 22 June 2022 and throughout the duration of the Programme.
- Requests for approval of digital products and services for subsidy are submitted by already approved suppliers throughout the duration of the Programme.

Circle A
- Applications for funding for the first cycle of Energy Category One (1) may be submitted by potential beneficiaries from Wednesday 22 June 2022 until Wednesday 30 November 2022.
B' Cycle
- Applications for funding for the second cycle of Energy Category 1 (1) may be submitted by potential beneficiaries from Thursday 1 December 2022 until Monday 15 May 2023.
Α' & Cycles B (common deadlines)
- Purchases of products and services included in Energy Category one (1), using the vouchers that will be issued for the benefit of the approved beneficiaries, can be made until Monday, October 16, 2023.
- The end date of the cooling off period, for which only certain (exceptional) cases of voucher redemption are allowed, is Wednesday 15 November 2023.
- The date for the completion of all payments and the completion of the Programme for this category of action is Monday 18 December 2023.
Categories two (2) and three (3):
Circle A
- Applications for funding for the first cycle of Action Categories Two (2) and Three (3) can be submitted by potential beneficiaries from Wednesday 22 June 2022 until Wednesday 30 November 2022.
B' Cycle
- Applications for funding for the second cycle of Action Categories Two (2) and Three (3) can be submitted by potential beneficiaries from Thursday 1 December 2022 until Friday 31 March 2023.
Α' & Cycles B (common deadlines)
- Purchases of products and services under Action Categories two (2) and three (3), using the vouchers that will be issued for the benefit of the approved beneficiaries, can be made until Thursday 31 August 2023.
- The end date of the cooling off period, for which only certain (exceptional) cases of voucher redemption are allowed, is Saturday 30 September 2023.
- The date for the completion of all payments and the completion of the Programme for these categories of actions is Tuesday 31 October 2023.
Category four (4):
Circle A
- Funding applications for the first cycle of Energy Category four (4) can be submitted by potential beneficiaries from Tuesday, January 10, 2023, until Monday, May 15, 2023.
B' Cycle
- Funding applications for the second cycle of Energy Category four (4) can be submitted by potential beneficiaries from Tuesday, May 16, 2023, until Friday, June 30, 2023.
Α' & Cycles B (common deadlines)
- Purchases of products and services included in Energy Category four (4), using the vouchers that will be issued for the benefit of the approved beneficiaries, can be made until Thursday, November 30, 2023.
- The end date of the cooling off period, for which only certain (exceptional) cases of voucher redemption are allowed, is Saturday 30 December 2023 .
- The date for completion of all payments and completion of the Programme for this category of energy is Wednesday 31 January 2024.
Categories five (5) and six (6):
Circle A
- Applications for funding for Cycle A in Energy Categories Five (5) and Six (6) can be submitted by potential beneficiaries from Thursday 1 June 2023 until Monday 31 July 2023.
Cycle B
- Funding applications for the second cycle of Energy Categories five (5) and six (6) can be submitted by potential beneficiaries from Tuesday, August 1, 2023, until Saturday, September 30, 2023.
Α' & Cycles B (common deadlines)
- Purchases of products and services included in Energy Categories Five (5) and Six (6), using the vouchers that will be issued for the benefit of the approved beneficiaries, can be made until Thursday29 February 2024.
- The end date of the cooling off period, for which only certain (exceptional) cases of voucher redemption are allowed, is Saturday30 March 2024.
- The date for the completion of all payments and the completion of the Programme for the specific categories of actions is30 April 2024.
Eligible actions and expenditure for Digital Transactions
Eligible for subsidy is the supply of digital products and services through a voucher system. Each beneficiary:
- may be financed for the purchase of one or more solutions (product/service mix). Each subsidized solution is invoiced and paid in full, with part of the repayment coming from the cashing of a check from the Program (public funding),
- may submit a request for funding for the purchase of solutions in one or more Action Categories, provided that it meets the general and specific (per category) eligibility criteria.
The supply of digital products and services, as well as related ancillary services, is carried out through the approved, within the framework of the Programme, Suppliers. They must also belong to the The Single Register of Approved Digital Products and Services .
