The project " Redesign of the Employment Promotion Centres (EPC2) of the Public Employment Service" was approved. The project aims at the functional renovation and energy upgrading of the 116 services of the Public Employment Service throughout the country.

The project, with a budget of €41,024,200, will be financed with resources from the Recovery and Resilience Fund (RDF ). It is part of the overall organisational restructuring of the PESA and its transformation into a modern, European public employment service that will respond to the needs of citizens, businesses and the labour market. At the same time, it will provide faster and more efficient services, building on European best practice.

Redesign of the Employment Centres of the PESA

The action includes a comprehensive redesign that will initially be captured in a CIP2. The changes will be piloted in this area in order to define the technical details. The implementation of the new standards will then proceed in every KPA2 in the whole territory. In this way, the presence of DYPA in local communities is strengthened by creating new landmarks.

The project provides for the creation of modern facilities with uniform standards in terms of organisation, materials and equipment. For their construction, the latest energy upgrade, energy saving and safety standards will be applied.

New corporate identity

Any the redesigned KPA2 will incorporate the elements of new corporate identity of the Public Employment Service , with simultaneous adoption of digital innovations that are already in operation and those that are in progress and will be presented in the near future, while emphasis will be placed on personalised job matching and counselling services, offering a new service experience to unemployed people, workers and businesses.

The DYPA in continuation of its rebranding, its organisational transformation, its digital transformation and the assuming new responsibilities regarding the development of workforce skills and the implementation of a new housing policy for the country's young people, is methodically implementing a a comprehensive restructuring plan with a view to making it a modern, a public employment service that offers quality services, comparable to those of its European counterparts, consistent in its social role and aimed at reducing unemployment and increasing employment.
