70 investment projects are approved in the Development Law 4399/2016 under the General Entrepreneurship scheme

The approval of 70 investment projects in the Development Law , approved by the General Directorate of Private Investments . The projects have been submitted by 62 enterprises of which two are under establishment.

This involves the approval of 70 investment projects with a budget of more than €500 million. euro. They concern investments in the hotel, food, beverage and aluminium industries and are eligible for aid under the latest Development Law under the General Entrepreneurship scheme.

Based on the provisional table posted on the website, it appears that no investment project has applied for the cost subsidy of created employment, low interest in leasing subsidy (only four investment projects have applied for this), with the vast majority interested in the tax exemption.

Statistics

It is noted that in the announcement of the General Entrepreneurship program, 496 investment projects with a total budget of € 1.55 billion were submitted for support. euro.

A total of 802 investment projects with a total budget of €2.1 billion euros, have applied for inclusion in the Development Law. Of these, 43 are large, i.e. their budget exceeds EUR 10 million. euro.

Of the proposals submitted purely the incentive of the tax exemption is requested by more than 40%, a corresponding rate grant, a mixed system of tax exemption and a grant 5%, a similar percentage is applied for by those who want a leasing subsidy while slightly above the 1% is the percentage of those who have chosen the incentive of subsidising the cost of job creation.
