The organization of the 2^nd Innovation Forum was announced, entitled: "Innovation leads the way". This event is a collaboration between the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Following the highly successful events of the last two years, The aim of this year's event is to provide Greek and German businesses with a platform for a free dialogue focusing on enhancing innovation in the Greek and German markets and promoting further bilateral cooperation. Greece and Germany can be a "Source of Innovative Ideas" and work even more closely together, opening new paths through now institutionalized actions, such as the organization of the Innovation Forum.

The event will be attended by prominent political figures as well as influential figures from the fields of economics, research and science as well as representatives of start-ups.

Themes for the 2nd Innovation Forum

The 2^nd Innovation Forum will include the following thematic areas:

• Technology – Growth horizons for business
• Health – Investing in technology and prevention
• Logistics – On the road to automation and artificial intelligence

At the 1^st Innovation Forum, which took place in November 2019, entitled: "Innovation as a lever for growth – A Greek-German cooperation", at the premises of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, 550 participants were present.

Following this event, the Chamber and the Embassy organized in December 2020 two e-Innovation-Roundtables on the theme "Innovation: Investing for the Future" with over 650 participants.

Due to the conditions of the pandemic, the ^2nd Innovation Forum will take place hybridly.

Language of the event: German - Greek with simultaneous interpretation.
