Stelios Hatziioannou Youth Entrepreneurship Awards 2024: Applications until 22/7
Sir Stelios Hadjiioannou organizes for the 15th year the “2024 Stelios Hadjiioannou Youth Entrepreneurship Awards”, rewarding the efforts of young entrepreneurs in Greece
The creator and owner of the trademarks easy and the Stelios Hatziioannou Charitable Foundation www.steliosfoundation.gr, this year doubles the total value of the awards, increasing it to 200,000 euros. Specifically, the first winner will claim the amount of 100,000 euros, the second the amount of 60,000 euros and the third 40,000 euros.
Young entrepreneurs are invited to register for the “2024 Stelios Hatziioannou Youth Entrepreneurship Awards” until July 22, while the 3 winners will be announced by Sir Stelios Hatziioannou on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, in a special event with a physical presence at the Stelios Foundation Conference Hall, the historic building at 22 Kydathinaion Street in Plaka. Old winners and applicants can re-enter if they meet the criteria, while the new age limit for prospective entrants is up to 35 years.
The Stelios Foundation Conference Hall is housed in the iconic building at Kydathinaion Street 22 in Plaka and is managed by the Stelios Hatziioannou Charitable Foundation. The Stelios Foundation Conference Hall is used for events of the Stelios Hatziioannou Charitable Foundation, while at the same time it is available free of charge for use by charitable organizations, under conditions set by the Foundation.
The criteria and application process for the “2023 Stelios Hatziioannou Youth Entrepreneurship Awards”
Entrepreneurs must:
- be up to 35 years old (born in 1989 or later)
- have established a Greek company and started their business activity in the last 5 years, accumulating a total turnover of at least 20,000 euros per year
Their business must:
- employ at least 3 people
- the entrepreneur must own at least 50% of it
- applications with more than two applicants from the same company will not be considered
- applicants can be of any nationality provided the company has its headquarters in Greece and files its taxes with the Greek state
