New Action “Strengthening Existing Very Small and Small Businesses in the Island Regions of the DAM Program 2021-2027 (“I do Green Business”)”
The “Do Green” Action aims to support existing very small and small businesses operating in small Greek islands (population up to 3,100 inhabitants). The purpose is to stimulate the local economy through “green” and innovative investments, which strengthen the resilience and extroversion of businesses, in harmony with the European Green Agreement.
The Action encourages investment projects based on the use of modern technologies, with the aim of upgrading products and services, improving energy efficiency and promoting “green” entrepreneurship. It is financed by the European Just Transition Fund and applies the De minimis Regulation (EU 2023/2831).
In the Action “I do green” may apply for funding existing micro and small businesses, which will implement an investment plan in one of the eligible activities on islands with a population of up to 3,100 residents.
existing means businesses that, on the date of online submission of the financing application, have at least two (2) complete closed management years (for which appropriate tax forms have been submitted).
Terms and Conditions of Beneficiary Participation
1. To submit a single financing application per A.F.M. 2. To have at least two (2) complete closed management years. 3. The “I do green” Action will be implemented with resources of the Just Transition Fund (TTM) of a total amount of €20,000,000.
The minimum and maximum total supported budget (P/Y) of the funding application is set from €20,000 up to €150,000. which must be provided by the applicant at all stages.
The grant will amount to 70% of the submitted costs and Private participation 30% (own resources or bank borrowing)
The aid of this Action “I do green” will be allocated in the framework of Regulation (EU) no.1407/2013 of the Commission of 18 December 2013 regarding the application of articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union to aid of minor importance (De Minimis).

Application start date: 30/04/2025 at 13:00
Deadline for applications: 30/06/2025 at 15:00
The start date of expenditure eligibility is defined as the date of announcement of the Action “Go Green”.
The duration of the implementation of the physical and financial object of the investment plan is set at 18 months from the date of issuance of the Decision Approving the evaluation results.
