Save at home: Subsidy of up to 25,000 euros for home renovation

It is only a matter of time before the announcement of the new program I save at home, which is expected to be announced by the competent Ministries Economy and Development and Environment & Energy end of June or – at the latest – beginning of July.

Budget – Save at Home

The eligible works budget will be capped at 25,000 euros or 250 euros per square meter for energy upgrade of any kind of residence, while the subsidy rates will reach up to 70% and will be scaled according to the level of income. That is, the lower the income, the higher the subsidy rate will be.

An important role is also played by the number of dependents, namely an increase of 5% per member. That is, the more dependent members, the higher the grant rate will be.

The subsidy for the loan interest rate is 100%.

Income limits

The new income limits that affect the subsidy rate are now as follows:

⦁ For individual income up to € 10,000 and for family income up to € 20,000, with a subsidy rate of 60%

⦁ For individual income from € 10,000 to € 15,000 and family income from € 20,000 to € 25,000, with a subsidy rate of 50%.

⦁ For individual income from € 15,000 to € 20,000 and for family income from € 25,000 to € 30000, with a subsidy rate of 40%.

⦁ For individual income from € 20,000 to € 25,000 and for family income from € 30,000 to € 35,000, with a subsidy rate of 35%.

⦁ For individual income from € 25,000 to € 30,000 and for family income from € 35,000 to € 40,000, with a subsidy rate of 30%.

⦁ For individual income from € 30,000 to € 35,000 and for family income from € 40,000 to € 45,000, with a subsidy rate of 25%.

In any case, the subsidy rate of the “Saving at Home” Program, increased depending on the number of dependent members, cannot exceed 70%, which is the maximum subsidy rate.
