CO-WORK: Submission of declarations for membership begins in October

A new extension until December 31, 2021 was given to the validity of the SYNC-WORK Mechanism. This is stated in a relevant announcement issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.

Business-employers can join the JOINT WORK Mechanism for the months of October, November and December 2021. They must meet the necessary financial criteria. The criteria are the same as those that applied to their accession during the months of July-August-September 2021.

It is noted that for the months of October 2021 to December 2021, those employees who have a full-time employment relationship on August 31, 2021 are included.

Hotel and tourist accommodation

A specific amendment applies to enterprises of main and non-main hotel and tourist accommodation. At the same time, provision is made for the integration of tourist buses. These companies can include for October the seasonal workers who are required to be rehired. As noted in the relevant announcement, This inclusion is independent of the date of re-engagement in 2021.

Deadlines for submission of declarations

FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER 2021 – PHASE A OF COOPERATION

It is possible to submit to the ERGANI CP the statements “APPLICATION / DECLARATION OF INCLUSION IN THE MECHANISM “CO-OPERATION” (A ́- PHASE)” and “APPLICATION / DECLARATION OF INCLUSION IN THE MECHANISM “CO-OPERATION” (A ́ – PHASE) – CORRECT REPETITION” by businesses – employers who wish to join the Mechanism for the month of OCTOBER 2021 from ¹ to ³¹ October 2021.

As pointed out in the relevant announcement, in any case there remains the obligation to notify in advance any change or modification of the organization of working time through the form E4: Staff Table – Supplementary Working Hours of the employees who are included in the MECHANISM, for the month of October 2021.

For the month of SEPTEMBER 2021 – PHASE B OF SYN-ERGASIA

It is possible to submit the statements “APPLICATION / DECLARATION OF INCLUSION IN THE MECHANISM “COOPERATION” (B ́- PHASE)” for September 2021, from ¹ to ¹¹ October 2021.
