Airbnb: Launches new service for easier accommodation management

Airbnb makes it even easier for hosts to manage spaces, with the Co-Host Network: an easy way to find the best local hosts to manage your of Airbnb spaces.

In addition, the company is adding over 50 upgrades for guests, making the Airbnb experience more personalized. These upgrades include suggested destinations, suggested search filters, and personalized entry points. All these upgrades are based on the user’s history from their previous trips and searches.

The Airbnb Host Network

Starting today, you can easily find and start partnerships with the best co-hosts in your area, who through the app, will help you manage your Airbnb listing. Co-hosts provide personalized hosting support based on your needs as a host, such as setting up your listing, managing reservations, communicating with guests, and more.

  • Work with the best hosts on Airbnb: Co-hosts are experienced hosts with a great track record on Airbnb. They have an average rating of 4.86, compared to the major property management companies, which have an average rating of 4.62. In fact, 73% of co-hosts are Superhosts and 84% help with property management and guest selection: the highest quality accommodations on Airbnb.
  • Find exactly the co-host you need from the app: With more than 10,000 co-hosts in 10 countries, we help you find the best one according to your needs. The personalized ranking algorithm recommends you a list of co-hosts based on more than 80 factors, including location, hosting experience and property type. You will thus be able to view the co-host’s profile and reviews and be able to contact them directly through the application.
  • Easily work with your co-host: When you start working with a co-host on Airbnb, you’ll be able to find everything you need from the app. You can send him direct messages, give him access to your calendar, share your payments and more.

A more personalized app

The process from search to booking is now customized based on your needs, with more than 50 upgrades including:

  • Getting to know the app for the first time: If you are using the app for the first time as a guest, we help you get started with an in-depth tour.
  • Suggested destinations: When you tap on the search bar, we will suggest locations based on your history from previous bookings and searches. We’ll also offer you shortcuts to your past searches and recently viewed listings.
  • Search Tips: Throughout the search process, we’ll offer relevant tips to help you find accommodations for last-minute bookings, host discounts, and more. For example, if you’re looking for a 6-day booking, we’ll suggest extending it by one day to take advantage of a weekly discount.
  • Recommended filters: We’ve redesigned the search filters with suggestions based on past bookings and your current search. It’s also now easier to view, add and remove filters.
  • Personalized listing highlights: When you view a listing, details relevant to your search will be highlighted, such as whether there is a games room or a yard if you are traveling with children.
  • Brand new payment process: If you have booked through our platform before, you will now see all the key details at a glance thanks to the new, concise design of the payment page, for an even simpler booking process.
  • Local payment methods: Soon you will have access to more than twenty payment methods worldwide, such as Vipps in Norway, Mobile Pay in Denmark and MoMo in Vietnam.

Upgrades for hosts

We’re also announcing more than 20 upgrades for hosts based on their feedback. Some examples:

  • Price suggestions: See suggested prices based on similar listings in your area and apply the suggestions with a single click.
  • New Quick Replies: Use customizable templates to quickly send guest welcome messages, arrival details, directions and more.
  • Income Dashboard: Create custom reports to see your income, filter it by income type and easily check when your payments are sent.

Winter 2024 Edition Availability

The Cohost Network is available in the app and address in 10 countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, UK and USA. Upgrades for guests and hosts will soon be available in Greece.
