Switch Device for Business: Three key changes to the program guide – Submit applications until the budget is exhausted
Three main changes introduces to the program “Change Device for Business”, amounting to 105.60 million euro, amending Decision (KYA: No. YPEN/YDEN/92784/583) of the Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Theodore Skylakakis and the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Mr. Nikos Papathanasis.
What does the Ministerial Decision provide for the program “I change a Device for Businesses”
- Simplifying the ability to achieve the energy goal set by the program. Specifically, for appliance replacements (e.g. air conditioner, refrigerator, oven, heat pump, etc.), a new emission certificate for each appliance will be sufficient. Energy inspectors or auditors will be able to issue it (before and after its installation), instead of using an Energy Performance Certificate (PEA) or an energy audit.
- Inclusion of farmers among the potential beneficiaries of the program, with the possibility of submitting applications from today, Thursday, September 26, 2024.
- Enhancement of recycled devices, amounting to 250 euros per device (with a maximum limit of 500 euros), in addition to the enhancement of eligible expenses
The program “Change Device for Businesses” remains open for applications from interested parties until the budget is exhausted.
In the meantime, evaluations of submitted applications are underway. Within the next period of time the relevant decisions on the inclusion of the beneficiaries will be posted. With the inclusion decision beneficiaries will be able to open special escrow accounts, where the total amount of the aid will be transferred.
Applications are submitted through the program’s electronic platform: https://exoikonomo-epixeiro2023.gov.gr and the direct evaluation method (First in-First out) is applied.
The program is implemented within the framework of the “Saving – Entrepreneuring” action, with the support of the Recovery and Resilience Fund.
