EBEA: 2nd International Women’s Entrepreneurship Forum

Female Entrepreneurship

The Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBEA) in collaboration with the National Chamber Network of Greek Women of Entrepreneurs (EEDEGE) are organizing the 2nd International Forum of Women Entrepreneurship, December 1-2at the “Hellenic Cosmos” Cultural Center of the Meizonos Foundation of Hellenism, and December 3 at the “Konstantinos Michalos” Entrepreneurship Center of EBEA, where the A.C.C.I.-Open Days will be held with unique workshops and mentoring sessions, presented by experts in the field.

In recent years, the number of women who manage to break “glass ceilings” and create new paradigms, highlighting the positive characteristics of female leadership, such as high emotional intelligence, increased abilities to manage change, analyze and solve problems, is increasing constantly. However, the road to ensuring equal opportunities remains long. The gender wage gap, women entrepreneurs’ limited access to capital, the lack of networks and mentorship still constitute serious obstacles on the road to equality and, of course, discrimination and social stereotypes regarding the role that women should have remain.

In the direction of removing these stereotypes, she aspires to contribute the 2nd International Women’s Entrepreneurship Forum.

With the participation of internationally renowned speakers, high-level executives and entrepreneurs the Forum is a unique opportunity for those who attend to expand their network, share their experiences and knowledge and promote the diffusion of innovative of ideas.
