OPEKEPE: 16 million euros were credited – What corrections can farmers make until the new payments

With the equal compensation credit, basic support, greening and young farmers completed by Organization for Payments and Control of Community Aid Guidance and Guarantees (OPEKEPE), the payments of the remains of OAS 2022.

Thus, rests of the aid saw in their bank accounts a total of 105,000 beneficiaries farmers, to whom the amount of 15,844,541 euros was paid.

At the same time, the payment of 70% of the 2023 basic aid is imminent, which is expected towards the end of the month.

In the meantime, OPEKEPE has already called on the producers to proceed with the final corrections to the Single Application for Aid in the ISTE 2023 in order to start and the procedures for the payment of the advance payment of 70% of the 2023 basic aid.

The Corrections

Thus, with regard to controls with monitoring, once the producers are informed of the findings, they will be able to proceed for all their parcels of land, regardless of the markings they received (green, red), in the following changes:

  • changing the location of an existing plot of land
  • modification of the geometry of an existing plot of land
  • subdivision of a plot of land (e.g. an existing plot of land to be ‘broken’ into two)
  • parcel deletion
  • remove request to activate basic support rights
  • remove linked aid request

It should be noted that it is not allowed to add, again, a plot of land that does not concern the above point (c).

However, it is recommended that producers or users of EAE 2023 do not make any changes to the parcels that received a “green” label.

As long as the farmer is notified that it is included in a field control sample that concerns areas (except that of cotton, maize and rice), none of the above changes will be allowed.

Ecological schemes and linked regimes

At the same time, farmers may until October 18, 2023 proceed with the addition and removal of ecological schemes with the necessary supporting documents as defined in the relevant ministerial decisions, while until October 15, 2023 the addition and removal connected with the necessary supporting documents is allowed.

Also varietal changes and joining a producer group and/or agricultural cooperative are allowed until October 18, 2023.

What applies to transfers

The transferor applies in the OPEKEPE information system, he does not need to attach documents unless he is informed that he is in a control sample, the application is finalized and he receives a protocol while then the recipient via gov.gr (eae2023.opekepe.gov.gr) makes the acceptance in order to finalize the transfer.

There is a periodic update of gov.gr (there is a delay in the update times between registration and display) and it must be checked daily by those concerned.

The submission of rights transfer applications and their acceptance will be available until 10/20/2023.
